MIDDLEWICH put on another stellar display to sink nine-man Gamesley.
Mike Brandon and Jonny Edwards scored two apiece - Stuart Tulloch and Dean Clarke adding the other strikes - as the Witches made it 15 goals in their past three matches.
It may all be in vain though after Styal saw off Woodley 4-1 to maintain their three-point advantage at the top.
Terry Murphy's men must now hope that the league leaders lose in the return match at Woodley on Monday.
Before that Town play the Timperley based outfit on Saturday.
They must win to keep their slim title hopes alive.
