Saxons sent a warning to their rivals

CHAMPIONS Saxons sent a warning to their rivals after thrashing last year’s runners-up Broughton on the Middlewich and District League’s opening night.

Top House matched their margin of victory against Boar’s Head to earn a share of the early lead.

Elsewhere Feathers and Golden Lion recorded wins against Knights Grange and Turnpike respectively, while Steventons let slip a 4-2 lead to draw at home to Big Lock.
