Match Pointers
NORTHWICH Victoria need to bounce back instantly from their midweek humbling at home to Droylsden, their first defeat of 2010.

But manager Andy Preece will be forced to shuffle his pack as Simon Grand and Wayne Riley both serve one-match suspensions. Nat Kerr and Michael Connor stand by.

Jamie Vermiglio is an alternative to Connor.

Top scorer Mark Danks is pushing for a recall too after scoring on his return to action as a second half substitute in midweek while Lee Elam, left out on Wednesday, hopes to be involved again too.

Northwich defend a five-months unbeaten stretch on the road in the league – their last reverse was at Corby Town back in September – a run of seven matches.

Hosts Hinckley have a number of selection headaches too.

Stopper Paul Lister sits out the contest with a one-match ban following his dismissal at Stalybridge Celtic last month, while leading marksman Adam Webster (ankle) continues to convalesce.

Captain Richard Lavery (back) is edging closer to a comeback after injury, but front man Chukki Eribenne (ankle) is a doubt too.

Teenager Matt West is likely to lead the Knitters’ attack.

Manager Dean Thomas make the most of a chance to bring in new faces though after the Football Conference lifted a transfer embargo today, Friday.

One man on his radar is defender Mark Dudley, who spent a spell on loan at the Greene King Stadium earlier this season.

Hinckley have lost only once at home this season – a 2-1 loss against Hyde United in August – winning seven of their past eight league encounters in front of their own fans.
