CHESHIRE Stars S, from Middlewich, have reached halfway in the South Cheshire Premier Netball League season without losing a game.
A 31-24 victory against Dragonflies on Monday, their ninth in succession, keeps them out in front in a race for promotion from the second tier.
Nicola Wellington was picked afterwards as player of the match.
Meanwhile improving Stars T extended a winning run in the Premier Division to three matches following a 43-21 triumph against Witton Albion.
Lucy Smith was best on court for the victors.
A third team representing the club, Stars R, suffered a first defeat of the campaign in Division Two when they went down by a narrow two-goal margin to Envy.
Karen Dickson was their outstanding performer in a 21-19 reverse.
Stars Pink, who play in Division Two, did not have a scheduled fixture last week.
They sit fifth in the table after seven matches.
