FOLLOWING a postponement at the weekend, Middlewich Town will attempt this Saturday to play their Mid-Cheshire District FA Challenge Cup semi-final at Cuddington.
The Cheshire League rivals were denied by a waterlogged pitch from meeting at Norley Road.
A prize for victory is a head-to-head with debutants Winsford Saxons in the final after they claimed a second scalp of a higher-ranked team by beating Rudheath.
They had already beaten holders Lostock Gralam in the last eight.
No other fixtures took place last weekend, so Middlewich remain third in Cheshire League One.
The Witches’ second string, who have played only once since the turn of the year, are scheduled to visit West Didsbury & Chorlton A this weekend.
They sit fourth in Reserve League Two with four games left of the campaign.
