WINSFORD residents, businesses and charities were celebrated at a local award ceremony.

The mayor’s Oskar Awards took place over the weekend, shining a light on the achievements of people from across the town.

Ten awards were handed out at the ceremony at Meadow Bank Social Club on Saturday (April 13), with finalists having been nominated by fellow members of their community.
