VOLUNTEERS from Middlewich Clean Team will lend a helping hand at this weekend’s inaugural Middlewich 5k run.
Members will meet at Brooks Lane bridge at 9.45am on Sunday, April 22, litter picking along the canal.
Once all runners have finished that section, the litter pick will move to the cricket club.
Volunteers are also welcome to pick in any areas of town, and refreshments will be served at the cricket club.
Committee members will also be running to raise funds for the clean team.
Middlewich Clean Team hold regular litter picks around town.
