THE mid Cheshire branch of Puddle Ducks, based in Twemlow Lane, has scooped a double win at a national awards ceremony.
The NatWest Encouraging Women into Franchising (EWIF) Awards celebrate the achievements of women in the franchise industry.
Jo Stone and Tracy Townend, co-founders of Puddle Ducks, were joint winners in the Woman Franchisor category, while franchisees Suzanne and Gary Horton won in the Innovation category.
Jo said: “We were delighted and proud to win our award, but we were doubly proud that one of our franchisees has also been recognised for the great work they are doing, it was so well deserved.
"We all work as a team, sharing the same ethos and believe passionately in teaching babies and children to learn how to swim.
"We want every child to love swimming, respect the water and swim beautifully. That’s why our standards are the highest and our approach is unique.”
Puddle Ducks was founded in 2002 and they now have 35 franchisees across the UK teaching over 17,000 children to swim every week.
