ST John's church will host a special Knutsford Royal May Day celebration this weekend.
There will be a chance to look around the Grade II-listed town centre church on the day of the parade, as well as a special celebration service the following morning.
St John’s Church and its cafe, in Church Hill, will be open from 11am until 4pm on Saturday, May 6, with sandwiches, children’s meals, scones with cream and jam, homemade cakes, tea, coffee and soft drinks all on offer.
On Sunday, May 7, newly-crowned May Queen Charlotte James, crown bearer Sam Cainer and the royal court will be present at 10.15am for the Royal May Day service.
