A CHARITY fashion night raised more than £300 towards a new defibrillator at a Cledford nursery.
The event, held at the Boars Head on August 10, included champagne, canapes and a browse of a range of fashion items.
All of the £5-per-ticket cost went towards funding a defibrillator for Tommy Thumbs nursery, at Cledford Primary School.
The night was hosted by Made in Italy between 6.30pm and 9.30pm, raising more than £300 to add to the money already fundraised by the nursery.
After the summer holiday, the nursery – along with SADS UK – hope to quickly reach their full target.
Linda Boden, a SADS UK fundraiser who has helped install dozens of defibrillators across the region, said: “We would just like to thank everyone for their wonderful support.”
