BUSINESSES from across Cheshire joined forces to raise £1,300 for the Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity after taking part in #SuperheroMC day earlier this month.

The Guardian in Northwich, South Cheshire Print and BareBones Marketing in Middlewich, Don Alberto Italian Restaurant in Holmes Chapel, Eze Talk in Crewe, OSBOS Ltd in Northwich and GTEQ Solutions Ltd in Cheadle were among those to take part.

The inaugural charity day consisted of fundraising activities while dressed as superheroes, with all money raised helping MCHC continue their good work.

Laura Riddle, MCHC charity manager, said: “We are absolutely thrilled that so many people came together and would like to thank all the individuals who were involved in #SuperheroMC.

“Events like this are critical to the ongoing success of our charity for us to help provide the local community with first class care and the funds raised during #SuperheroMC will go a long way.”

Emma Dalzell, Bare Bones Marketing managing director, said: “We had a great day fundraising for our client Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity and are delighted that #superheroMC has been a resounding success.”

MCHC are based at Leighton Hospital, and work to supply essential hospital equipment for first-class care.
