THE M6 between junction 19 and 20 has now reopened following a collision between two lorries. 

Diversions were put in place earlier after a collision involving two HGVs that happened shortly after 1pm.

As a result of the incident the road was closed northbound between junctions 19 and 20 for three hours.

Officers from Cheshire roads policing team were in attendance at the scene, along with colleagues from Highways England.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Services and North West Ambulance Service also headed to the scene.

Both drivers were treated at the scene but their condition is not currently known.
