FIREFIGHTERS attended a car that was on fire by the side of the road in Middlewich.
Emergency services were called to an incident in Clive Green Lane, Stanthorne, today, just after 9am.
Nobody was in the car when the fire service arrived. The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were called to extinguish a car on fire in Middlewich.
“The car was at the side of the road when firefighters arrived and they used two hose reels to extinguish the flames.”
