MIDDLEWICH Food and Drink Festival went down a treat on market day.
The second annual Food and Drink Festival ran alongside the Makers Market on Saturday, October 31 and included cooking demonstrations from celebrity chef Nigel Brown and Indian cooking group the Spice Girls.
Dave Thompson, events manager at Middlewich Town Council, said: “It was great, we had some delicious food and people really seemed to enjoy it.
“I think it was a lot more successful this year having the demonstrations in the market rather than in the Bull Ring and I hope we can build on that for next year.
“It was a successful day for the market and the event. The market is great for the town and I think anything we can do to support it with things like this is well worth it.
“Thanks to everybody who was involved in the Food and Drink Festival and watch this space.”
