Bare Bones Marketing took to the streets on the Saturday and managed to raise more than £100 on the day, which the firm are match-funding.

Emma Dalzell, founder of Bare Bones Marketing, said: "Leighton Hospital plays an important part in the local community and is used regularly by the people of Middlewich; so it is important that we get behind Leighton Hospital, which is why we have decided to match fund the amount that was raised on the day. The community spirit over the weekend was amazing, thank you to everyone who put money in our buckets."

Laura Riddle, charity manager for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity, added: "The support that we have received from the people of Middlewich was overwhelming. We desperately need a second MRI Scanner at Leighton Hospital and it is lovely to see so many local people getting behind us and what we are trying to do.

"I’d like to thank Emma, the Bare Bones Marketing team and Trust staff member Lisa who took to the streets of Middlewich to help us raise funds for the new MRI Scanner. A big thank you as well to the people and visitors of Middlewich for supporting us and donating, we can’t thank you enough.’
