CHESHIRE East Council has announced that Executive Director for Strategic Commissioning Lorraine Butcher will leave the council following a review of the management structure.
After a review of senior management, it was decided the role occupied by Ms Butcher would become redundant.
Mike Suarez, chief executive of Cheshire East Council, said: “I would like to thank Lorraine for her significant contribution and wish her all the best in her future endeavours.
“The council has come a long way and Lorraine should feel proud of the part that she and others have played in ensuring that residents of Cheshire East have access to good services.”
Ms Butcher added: ““I would like to thank all those colleagues that I have worked with, and who have supported me, along with those from partner agencies across the sub-region who share my commitment to do the very best for residents.”
