ONE of the Middlewich businesses sponsoring this year’s Folk and Boat Festival, Bare Bones Marketing, will be raising money for Mid Cheshire Hospital during the festival.

Bare Bones is supporting the special 25th anniversary event by sponsoring the Youth Music Showcase on Saturday, June 20, between 1pm and 4pm.

As well as sponsoring the event, the Bare Bones team will be raising money on the day in aid of Mid Cheshire Hospitals MRI Scanner Appeal to help raise £1million for an additional MRI Scanner at Leighton Hospital.

Emma Dalzell, founder of Bare Bones Marketing, comments: “Supporting our local community is something that we’re extremely passionate about, and we’re delighted to be supporting The Cheshire Youth Showcase on Saturday 20th June.

“Middlewich is a fantastic town for a festival, with its long and rich history, friendly welcoming folk, and the fantastic community spirit that exists in our little corner of Cheshire.”

The MRI Scanner is currently working to full capacity between 8am and 8pm every day with approximate-ly 30 patients a day being scanned, and the festival fundraiser will follow on from the successful Selfie Elfie campaign kicked off by Bare Bones marketing in December.

Laura Riddle, charity manager of Mid Cheshire Hospital, said: “I’d like to thank Bare Bones Marketing for choosing to support the MRI Scanner Appeal at the Middlewich FAB Festival. We can’t thank the people of Middlewich enough for their continued support.”
