THE candidates for the Middlewich Town Council election in May have been announced.
The town council is split into two wards, Cledford ward and Kinderton ward, with six seats in each ward.
As only six candidates entered to stand for the Cledford Ward, it is uncontested and the six candidates will automatically become town councillors on May 7, without a poll.
The Kinderton ward is contested and there are seven candidates competing for the six seats.
The full lists of candidates for both wards are below.
