A FIFTY-SIX-YEAR-OLD man from Middlewich is fighting for his life in hospital after being found with stomach injuries in Moston.
The man was found by a jogger at around 11am this morning, Tuesday, January 20, on Dragons Lane in Moston.
He is currently being treated in North Staffordshire Hospital and remains in a critical condition.
Police say they are not seeking anyone in connection with the incident.
A Spokesman from Cheshire Police said: “At 11.10am on Tuesday 20 January, police received a report of a concern for the welfare of a man on Dragons Lane in Moston.
“On arrival, police discovered a man with an injury to his stomach.
“The man, who is aged 56 and from the Middlewich area, was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital where his condition is described as critical.
“Officers are investigating how the man came to receive his injuries and are not seeking anyone else in connection with the incident at this stage.”
