A LORRY driver from Middlewich who was seriously injured in a crash on the M62 is described to be ‘much improved’ after spending weeks in critical care.

Chris Mason suffered multiple serious injuries after he was involved in a collision with another heavy goods vehicle on the M62 near Widnes on Monday, October 6.

Chris had to be cut free from his cabin by firefighters and taken by ambulance to Aintree University Hospital.
