SERAPHIM Beauty Salon in Middlewich raised more than £500 for St Luke’s Hospice with a fundraising event on Saturday.

The event, held at the salon on Southway, saw men get their chests waxed for the good cause, as well as a raffle, mini treatments and coffee and cakes raising money for the Hospice.

Anna Atherton, complementary therapist at Seraphim Beauty, said: “The owner Stacey’s partner lost his gran in July and St Luke’s did so much for her so this was to give something back.

“The event went really well we were really busy and the men’s waxing attracted a lot of people.

“To raise £500 was incredible and we never would have expected to raise that much.”

As well as Anna, owner Stacey Dean, and therapists Hayley Dean, Kathy Dean and Lois Cottingham were helping raise money at the salon.

Seraphim Beauty Salon are still collecting for St Luke’s and are accepting donations in the salon.
