FIREFIGHTERS from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service are out and about this week giving out vital safety messages to parents and children during Child Safety Week.
Throughout the week which runs from Monday, June 23 until Sunday, June 29, the Service will be asking people to make sure their family, guests and loved ones are safe and know what to do in the event of a fire.
Keith Brooks, Head of Prevention and Protection at Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters attend many incidents involving children, and see firsthand the problems that surround them, both in the home and on the road.
“We need to do everything we can to prevent accidents involving children occurring so I would encourage people to please take the time to have a look on our website and follow our safety advice.”
