CLEDFORD primary pupils enjoyed a pop project on Tuesday as part of the school’s activities for World Book Day.

The Pop Project had the whole school rocking with their Six Decades of Books show.

Music, pictures, video and song were used to remind children of their favourite stories such as Narnia, The Snowman, Paddington Bear and Hogwarts.

Jane Booth, head teacher of Cledford Primary School, said: “We have used ‘The Pop Project’ before as part of our extensive arts programme here at Cledford and were pleased to welcome them again.

“The lively team got the whole school rocking, our youngest children learned some new action songs and our staff were still tapping their feet long after the children had gone home!”
