A sewing machine being donated to Masaka Club members
THE Northwich branch meets twice monthly at The Oaklands Hotel, Gorstage.
The club supports a number of charities. A donation of £500 was recently given to Soroptimist International in Masaka, Uganda to match their funding, for the purchase of a design sewing machine and accessories.
The machine will be used for a project with a group of HIV positive women and girls. HOFTAC (HIV positive women’s group) have been in need of a sewing machine for a long time.
This group of women deals with craft making, tailoring, poultry and some in agriculture.
