THE National Clown Theatre as featured on ITV’s Alan Titchmarsh Show is coming to town next weekend.

The panto-circus theatre will be staging a special afternoon of fun at The Civic Hall on Sunday March 16 from 2.30pm.

Combining the comedy of pantomime with the fun of the circus, the 80 minute show features traditional slapstick, magic, cartoon characters and high flying diabolos, balancing,a slinky acrobat.

In addition, viewers can expect surprises, prizes, puppets and a performing piranha.

Charlie Cheescake, the show’s chief laughtermaker, said: “We are bringing bucketfuls of fabulous fun.

“Children love to laugh at slapstick, just look at the popularity of You've Been Framed.

"Some of our most popular humour dates back to court jesters but it still gets huge laughs today. We tour throughout the UK bringing miles of smiles wherever we go".

Tickets are £5 and can be purchased in advance by calling 01384 423496.
