THE Middlewich Round Table has announced the line-up for the 2018 Middlewich Beer Festival

The event, organised by the Middlewich Round Table, is in the Middlewich Royal British Legion, in Lewin Street, from Friday, October 26 to Saturday, October 27.

The Friday night is 80s themed and runs from 7pm to midnight and fancy dress is encouraged.

The Saturday afternoon will see performances from several local bands from midday to 4pm including Deep Waters, Irwell, Sam Lyon and Daz and Stu.

The Saturday night will be 70s themed.

All sessions are £5 entry and tickets are available from the British Legion, Chisholm's Newsagents and online at Eventbrite.

Tokens cost £1.25 each and it is one token for half a pint of beer or cider, two tokens for a glass of wine or a single gin, a double gin is four tokens and tonic and ginger ale are both one token.

There will also be gins, tonics, wines and ciders available.

There will be a raffle in support of the poppy appeal.

For any local business or group wishing to sponsor a cask the cost is £75 and the logo goes on that cask.

Jack Roberts, from Middlewich Round Table, said: “Middlewich Round Table would like to thank all our sponsors, the festival would not be possible without them.

“All profits from the festival go to the poppy appeal and local charities.”
