WARRINGTON Borough Council is urging residents in Burtonwood and Collins Green to have their say on traffic and transport concerns.

The Omega scheme has reached a stage where funding is available to promote measures to target the key traffic issues. The council is working with ward councillors to develop solutions and design options.

To get involved go to warrington.gov.uk/info/201132/develop-warrington/2429/burtonwood-environmental-scheme and fill out a questionnaire, email burtonwoodes@warrington.gov.uk or go along to the consultation event on Tuesday, October 2 at Burtonwood Community Centre.

Cllr Hans Mundry, executive board member for highways, transportation and public realm, said: “The consultation gives the council the chance to listen to people’s opinions, take on board different views and explore all the options available to improve the area for local people. That is why it’s vital you have your say.”

The four week consultation period started on Monday September 17 and will end on Friday October 12.
