DEBUT novelist Joy Pearson is celebrating the publication of her debut novel Untangling The Webs.

Joy, from Middlewich, lived in Knutsford for many years, acting with the Knutsford Little Theatre in serious and comedic plays.

Her novel is available in Waterstones at Knutsford.

Joy said: “Expect the unexpected in Untangling the Webs, a relationship suspense thriller which follows four women’s parallel lives exploring the indomitability of the human spirit, as with empathy and unconditional support of a close confidante they battle shocks, treachery, infidelity and grief, untangling toxic webs of mystery, seeking happiness again.

“Riveting cliffhangers, male partners, humour, wisdom, music, cats, lost letters, serendipitous discoveries and a devious female stalker are shared with the reader – the invisible privileged guest drawn deeper into colourful characters’ lives.”

The novel is set in Cheshire, Worcestershire, Cornwall and Provence, and as part of Northwich LitFest Joy gave a talk and signed copies of the book at Northwich Library. At the event explained she how a life-threatening incident in Jerusalem spurred her on to write serious poetry, amusing verse, her autobiography and first novel.
