FIREFIGHTERS were called to Middlewich yesterday where a camper van was on fire.

Crews from Middlewich and Holmes Chapel were sent to the scene in St Anne’s Avenue at 3.41pm where they stayed for around two hours.

A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were called to St Anne's Avenue, Middlewich following reports of a camper van on fire.

“Crews removed a cylinder and used two hose reels, two breathing apparatus and thermal imaging camera to put the fire out. They were at the scene for around two hours.”
