MIDDLEWICH High School is challenging its students to collect more than 250 Christmas selection boxes for St Luke’s Hospice.

The school is asking each form to donate at least 10 of the plastic-wrapped treats to the charity, which will use them in this year’s Santa’s Grotto.

A Middlewich High School spokesman said: “St Luke’s Hospice is a cause close to many of our hearts here.

“They do an amazing job and to we would like to support them. Please help this fantastic organisation if you can.”

The annual Christmas jumper day will be also be held towards the end of term with proceeds going to St Luke’s.
