MUMFORD and Sons' world tour will be stopping off in Manchester and Liverpool later this year.

The folk rock superstars' tour will feature a new 'in-the-round stage' design meaning the band will be performing in the middle of the room.

They will be at Manchester Arena on November 21 and Liverpool Arena on December 2.

The shows are in support of the London four-piece's fourth album, Delta, which will be released on November 16.

The lead single from the record, the acoustic-driven Guiding Light, has already been released.

It is the band's largest tour to date featuring 60 shows across the globe.

Mumford and Sons were formed in 2007 by multi-instrumentalists Marcus Mumford, Ben Lovett, Winston Marshall and Ted Dwane

Their first three albums all entered the top five in the charts and all went multi-platinum including the two chart-toppers, Babel and Wilder Mind.

Babel also became the fastest-selling rock album of 2012.
