I READ Paul Koller’s letter in the Guardian, August 18, and was concerned to note his claims that he ‘emailed all the Liberal Democrat Councillors except for Bev Theron’ and did not receive any reply.

Hunting ban is a waste of money

I AM writing to you regarding the headline on the front of the Northwich Guardian, August 25. It reads ‘Bloody disgrace.’ I think it is a bloody disgrace that this [illegal hare coursing] has made front-page news.

Nothing amusing for dog walkers

HAVING discussed it with my wife we have decided we should ignore the offensive and threatening anonymous letters I received before the General Election, as that would be giving in to these cowards. It would also be remiss of me not to point out that many of the things I foretold before the election are now coming to fruition, namely cuts in benefits and loss of jobs.

SINCE the taxi fares and tariff changes this month, there have been many complaints from customers using taxis. I would urge people to keep in mind that it is not the drivers who put the fares up, it is Cheshire West and Cheshire Council.
