I READ with some interest Wayne Jackson’s diatribe (June 27) against the failings of Northwich council, which began with old age pensioners.
What does he expect the council to do about OAPs?
Perhaps he should be reminded that the pensions and savings of OAPs are helping to keep Northwich businesses viable.
Many OAPs are still making a valuable contribution to society, probably greater than his with his arrogant and selfish attitude.
What next? Banning people over 14-stone because they take up too much room in the streets?
Banning children because they make a noise?
He should consider the fact that were it not for people older than him he would never have been born.
