REGARDING the letter from A Lowe, October 5.
I thought at first, regular correspondent Alan Lowe was mellowing, after constantly complaining about the new Memorial Court, he has now decided that the interior at least is a great asset to Northwich.
However, Mr Lowe then goes onto berate the people of Northwich for failing to support the recent production of Be My Baby.
I think the reason why it was not well-supported was the prohibitive cost of the tickets and the lack of well-known stars. Plus the content matter of the play and yes, I was one that attended!
The play was entitled Be My Baby and set in the 1960s and not Bye Bye Baby as stated by Mr Lowe who as a serious historian, I thought would have known was a hit by the Bay City Rollers circa 1975.
