SOME months ago, when the Weaver Way between Northwich and Winsford was being updated, signs were erected asking cyclists to show courtesy to those on foot.
Sadly, a number of male cyclists still ride in a fast aggressive manner; they neither slow down nor ring a bell, even when approaching from behind.
Not only is this irresponsible behaviour, but a collision could involve serious injury or even cause one of those involved being pitched into the river itself.
Surely a little consideration is not too much to ask.
Many of those on foot are often accompanied by children or are dog walkers, and also older people less agile.
Some cyclists even use mobile phones.
Please have some respect.
