I have always felt privileged to be a member of the Mid Cheshire Musical Theatre Company but last Wednesday night I not only felt privileged, I felt extremely proud.
The production of For King and Country at Winnington Park Recreation Club, directed by Barbara Turner, was a beautiful way of commemorating the local lads who ‘gave their tomorrows for our today’s’.
Nearly 200 people saw the performance and all were moved by it. They were made to laugh and cry, but most of all they were made to sing.
If enough people want a chance to see this remarkable concert, another night just might be arranged.
