TERRY Murphy predicts Middlewich may have to be perfect to become champions.

They trail leaders Woodley by four points with 10 matches to go, a run of games in which the manager believes they must be victorious every time.

“It may come to that,” he said.

“But why can’t we go on and win them all? Woodley have had a bad week and opened the door for us a bit so we need to take advantage.”

Jim Rushe’s men lost at home at the weekend following a midweek draw with Club AZ.

They head to Stalybridge Celtic Reserves on Saturday knowing another slip could leave the Witches within striking distance for when the two teams meet next month.
