CHESHIRE Stars will have two teams in the South Cheshire Premier Netball League's top-flight next season following a thrilling final round of matches last week.
Stars S celebrated a 32-20 victory against Ringwood that secured for them second spot in the Championship Division behind Falcons.
Wing-attack Alisan Barrett-Cliffe was chosen afterwards as the Middlewich-based outfit's best performer during a game when their shooting remained sharp.
Their reward is to join Stars T, who succumbed to high-flying Police in their final fixture, in the Premier Division when the competition resumes.
Joanne Barnett was their stand-out player in a hard-fought head-to-head.

Stars A narrowly missed out on a promotion play-offs place in the Championship Division after concluding a successful campaign with a victory against Alsager that leaves them fifth in the final table.
