CHESHIRE Stars T were comfortable victors on their return to action in the South Cheshire Premier League’s top-flight last week.
A 38-21 victory against Sharks was inspired by a player-of-the-match performance by Kebriah Pardoe for the Middlewich-based side.
They sit seventh in the Premier Division table.
Stars S could not cover the absence of key attacking players, through injury and illness, when they went down 38-16 against Ringwood in the Championship Division.
Andrea O’Neill, at centre, was again their star turn.
Stars A claimed top spot in Division One following a 38-23 victory against ExcelClad – their 10th win in 13 matches this season.
Holly Jones was picked as their best player.
Meanwhile Stars R continue to keep pace with rivals Sandbach at the top of Division Two following an emphatic 34-8 triumph against back-markers Sandstormers.
It leaves them seven points clear of third-placed Envy.
Karen Dickson was their standout performer.
