NEWCOMER Em Coop inspired Cheshire Stars T to a first victory of the campaign in the South Cheshire Premier League’s top-flight.
She was picked as their player of the match in a narrow 25-23 success against AIM on Wednesday, ending a sequence of four defeats.
Meanwhile Stars S celebrated a 27-21 win against Alsager in the Championship Division, with centre Andrea O’Neill leading the way.
A promising week for the Middlewich-based club continued when Stars A inflicted a first defeat of the season on Fusion in Division One.
Danielle Jones was their star turn in a 37-20 victory on Thursday.
Stars R completed a clean sweep when they saw off Sandbach to register a third successive win in Division Two, much to the delight of coach Claire Worswick.
Ellie Roberts was nominated as their best performer after a 31-21 success.
