Andy Town’s hat-trick of victories was the highlight of a 7-3 victory for the champions against closest rivals Victoria, whose own unbeaten start comes to an end.
Martin Thomson took two wins for Holmes Chapel outfit.
Tigers rise to fourth in the table after beating back-markers Cobras by the same score, with Craig Lee and Mark Trett ending the evening undefeated.
Crusaders won a battle between the leading teams in Division Two, captain Pete Rowlinson leading by example with victories in each of his head-to-heads against Blades.
He won the doubles contest too with partner Steve Peach.
Lemmings are close behind in third after beating Wolves 7-3 thanks to unbeaten runs from Dave Etchells and Gail Johns.
They meet Crusaders next.
Valiants share fourth spot with Hawks following an 8-2 success against Winsford the same night.
Vikings occupy first place in Division Three as a reward for beating Falcons in emphatic fashion.
Rangers, who did not have a fixture, slip to second.
Snakes squeezed past Kinetics in the closest contest of the evening despite Martin Selby winning three singles rubbers for their opponents.
Bears whitewashed Middlewich High in the other match.
