Top flight play-off for Cheshire Stars netball team
CHESHIRE Stars T, from Middlewich, are one win away from a place in the South Cheshire Premier League’s top flight.
They defeated Tigers by 22-15 to set up a head-to-head with Castle at Crewe’s Sir William Stanier Leisure Centre tomorrow, Thursday.
The victor will fill the remaining vacancy in the Premier Division for next season.
Clubmates Cheshire Stars S went down narrowly to Funk in the Division One play-offs, matching their opponents into the closing stages before losing 25-20.
They were due a chance to bounce back in the League Cup semi finals last night, Tuesday, against Premier Division high-fliers Whitbys.
