COMBERBACH A claimed the biggest margin of victory in the Mid-Cheshire Crown Green Bowling Premier League on Friday, beating Middlewich CC by 75 chalks.

Promotion-hopefuls Beech Tree A and Crosstown A both scored 239 in comfortable home wins against Comberbach B and Davenham A respectively.
Alsager Institute, runaway leaders in Section Two, were one mark short of a full house at home to Middlewich RBL.
Wharton Cons C won at Castle Private C in the same section to edge ahead of Rudheath B, who proved too strong for Spinner & Bergamot A at Middlewich Road.
Barnton CC A registered a first away success, winning at Helsby.
