Warmingham WI relived the winter Olympics for a short while with much enjoyment and some skill as the key attraction for their first meeting of the year was curling. Members got to grips with a version of the intriguing sport designed to be played in ice-free venues. Perhaps come the next winter Olympics, Warmingham will have even greater understanding of the finer points of the sport played on ice.

The next meeting will be less active but no less interesting as Roger Burgess will introduce the audience to Northern Ireland on Wednesday, February 04. The meeting begins as usual at 7.30pm and visitors are welcome.

Meetings take place in Warmingham Village Hall, CW11 3QN at 7.30 pm on the first Wednesday of each month. Further details are available from www.warmingham.org.uk, please call 01606 737037 or email MMAHannon@aol.com.
