Air ambulance lands in Middlewich after Audi crash

AN air ambulance had to land in Middlewich after a motorist lost control of his vehicle.

A black Audi A4 went into a ditch in Brereton Lane in Sproston, around 50 yards from Oakley Manor.

Firefighters had to cut cut free the driver and two passengers from the car just after 9.40am on September 9.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: “The driver was taken to North Staffordshire Hospital by air ambulance with suspected spinal injuries but after being assessed was uninjured.

“The two passengers were treated at the hospital for minor whiplash injuries.”
