A PARALYMPIAN paid a visit to Middlewich High School to give an inspirational talk during Sports Week.
Sinclair Thomas, a former wheelchair basketball player, spoke to pupils about his experiences at the Athens Paralympics in 2004 when he won a bronze medal.
He was also assistant coach for Great Britain’s basketball team which won bronze at the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
The King Edward Street school also held an Olympic-style ceremony with a parade of flags and performances from gymnasts, dancers, singers and drummers.
