UPDATE: Wheelock Street will reopen tomorrow a day behind schedule

WHEELOCK Street will be reopening tomorrow, Tuesday - a day behind schedule.

National Grid engineers were due to reopen Middlewich's main shopping street this morning.

They are currently replacing metal gas mains with new plastic ones.

Although the road is reopening, engineers will remain on site for around another fortnight and no parking will be available.
