A MIDDLEWICH biker is offering a £500 reward for the return of his Honda CRF 450 that was stolen on Thursday.
James Hurst and his wife Joanne, of Booth Lane, fear that if someone rides the Motocross bike who is inexperienced they could risk losing their life.
“We’re very concerned,” Joanne said.
“It’s a high performance bike and if you don’t know how to use it, it’s dangerous. It was only recently that a lad in Tameside was killed on one.
“It is not a road bike and must never be used as one it is only ever used in a controlled safe environment.”
The bike, which is white and has a ‘26’ sticker on the front in black and white, was stolen from a lock up at the back of Tree Tops Nursery in Holmes Chapel Road, Knutsford.
Bike boots, body armour and tools were also taken.
Joanne added: “Jamie is devastated that the bike has gone missing as racing starts in March.”
Anyone with information should call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
