RESIDENTS of Burtonwood are invited to air their concerns over traffic and transport matters in relation to the Omega development.

Consultation is officially under way and the Omega development has reached a stage where funding is available to promote measures to target the key traffic issues identified by residents in Burtonwood and Collins Green.

Warrington Council has been working with ward councillors to develop potential solutions and design options.

Cllr Hans Mundry, executive board member for highways, transportation and public realm said “The consultation gives the Council the chance to listen to people’s opinions, take on board different views and explore all the options available to improve the area for local people. That is why it’s vital you have your say.”

To get involved and have your say:

• Go to warrington.gov.uk/info/201132/develop-warrington/2429/burtonwood-environmental-scheme to view the proposed masterplans and fill out a questionnaire

• Email burtonwoodes@warrington.gov.uk, or

• Attend either of the two consultation events on Tuesday, September 25 or Tuesday, October 2 at Burtonwood Community Centre, Greens Jones Brown, WA5 4LH.

The four week consultation period started on Monday, September 17 and will end on Friday 12 October 2018.
