CHESHIRE East Council have today granted planning permission to turn an office building back to a home in Chester Road.

The property in the Lindens had been used as an office until June, 11, 2018.

The officer’s report states: “It is not considered that the development, subject to the conditions attached to the planning permission, would have significant detrimental impact upon the visual amenities of the area, or the living conditions of adjacent occupiers.”

The majority of the works required to complete the conversion will be interior works as oppose to works in the surrounding area.

The application seeks planning permission for the change of use of ground, first and second floors of the property from offices to a dwelling. The current residential use of the third floor, a self-contained flat, would be retained.
